John Dundas; Ex-Regional OPA Chief
John A. Dundas, senior member of a third-generation family of attorneys, former general counsel for Douglas Aircraft Co. and the wartime enforcement officer for the regional Office of Price Administration, died March 22 of a heart attack in Laguna Hills, where he had lived in retirement. He was 81.
A student at Harvard Law School and a 1930 graduate of the USC School of Law, Dundas worked as a deputy district attorney until World War II, when he joined the OPA.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda, a brother, two sons and five grandchildren.
