Eight in Massachusetts Face Marijuana Charge

BOSTON —
Eight men were arrested Monday and charged with bringing marijuana into Massachusetts in 1982 and 1983, officials said.
The defendants, including five members of the Fall River-based Sidewinders motorcycle club who allegedly provided security for the operation, were charged with smuggling about 323,000 pounds of marijuana, which police said was worth more than $150 million.
