Ten people were killed when a chartered twin-engine aircraft crashed southwest of Oslo on a trip from West Germany to Norway, police said. The Beechcraft 90, carrying eight passengers and two crewmen, was arriving from Hanover when it crashed and exploded in flames in thick fog and rain on its approach to Gjeiteryggen Airport, 80 miles southwest of Oslo, near the town of Skien. The victims were all Norwegians, police said.
