Quake Rattles Tokyo

TOKYO —
An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale rocked the Tokyo area Friday, rattling buildings and briefly interrupting bullet train lines, but police said there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The epicenter of the tremor was 35 miles below ground, in Ibaraki prefecture north of Tokyo.
