A second man has pleaded guilty to attempting to sell explosives, firearms and drugs to undercover federal agents Dec. 10 in a parking lot across from Taft High School in Woodland Hills.

Edward Steven Pajak, 38, of Tujunga pleaded guilty Monday to three felony counts in federal court in Los Angeles. John Robert Sargent, 32, of Simi Valley pleaded guilty last month to the same charges. The two face a maximum of 55 years in prison and fines of $2.5 million. Sargent is to be sentenced May 4, and Pajak on May 19, by U.S. District Judge Consuelo B. Marshall.

The pair were arrested after they offered to sell 15 pounds of explosives, two semiautomatic pistols and eight ounces of PCP, or phencyclidine, to two undercover officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
