IMMIGRATION TOPIC OF CHANNEL 4 SERIES
KNBC-TV Channel 4 has scheduled a 10-part series on its 6 p.m. newscast to explain the details and possible ramifications of the new Immigration Reform and Control Act, under which illegal aliens can apply for amnesty in the United States.
The reports, beginning today, will run with subtitles in Spanish.
The first five installments, anchored by Linda Alvarez, will explain how the law and the amnesty process are intended to work.
The second five, to air next week, will feature Carla Aragon exploring the political, social and economic implications of the measure.
