The Lakers are going to steamroll the Celtics this year, as sure as Magic Johnson is a cinch to be named the season’s MVP. This has been a spectacular year for the Lakers, and the Magic act has never looked better.

Michael Jordan? It’s only his third year and there’s plenty of trophy time later. What would the Bulls be like without Jordan? Defunct, is that what you wanted to hear? But he already has a gold medal, and there is time for a trophy later.
