TWA Discount Offers

TWA is continuing its Travel Value-Pak program, with 1987 booklets offering discount coupons on car rentals, hotels, restaurants, sightseeing tours and attractions, and theater shows.

The coupon booklet has three versions covering the East Coast, Florida/New Orleans/Texas and California/West. You have to fly TWA round trip domestically to get a booklet. Coupons are good until the end of the year except in Florida, which has a Dec. 15 deadline.

You can’t use the coupons with any other discounts for hotels and car rentals. Rooms and cars are subject to availability. Information: (800) 221-2000.

Lincoln Hotels, with 13 properties in nine states, is offering a free breakfast to guests paying any of its advertised rates Monday through Thursday.

The breakfast, which includes anything on the menu plus beverage (some hotels offer buffet-style breakfasts), is available for one guest per room.

The Dallas-based chain has hotels in Dallas; Houston; Tulsa, Okla.; Nashville, Tenn.; Little Rock, Ark.; Birmingham, Ala.; Tampa, Fla.; Dearborn, Mich., and Philadelphia. Information: (800) 228-0808.

Stouffer Hotels has extended its offer of special benefits to guests staying at its airport or “concourse” properties in Denver, St. Louis, Washington and Los Angeles until June 30. A Concourse Gift Pack provides a 30% discount off regular room rates, plus 10% off a Hertz car rental. The kits are available at any Stouffer property, not just the airport hotels.

Massachusetts has a new coupon booklet offering discounts to 34 museums, nature and science centers, historic attractions and performing arts groups throughout the state. Most of the coupons are valid until the end of November.
