“Pack of Lies,” Sunday night’s “Hallmark Hall of Fame” drama on CBS, packed a solid viewing punch and landed in the Top 10 of the ratings issued Tuesday by the A.C. Nielsen Co. It was ranked ninth--the only non-series program among the first 10 programs on the list. Making up the Top 10 were (in order) “Family Ties,” “The Cosby Show,” “Cheers,” “Moonlighting,” “60 Minutes,” “Golden Girls,” “Nothing in Common,” “Matlock,” “Pack of Lies” and “L.A. Law.” While “Lies” was among the week’s most-watched shows, another CBS special did not fare as well. “The Carnegie Hall Grand Re-Opening” was 68th out of 70 programs on the list, with ABC’s “Our World” 69th and “ABC News Closeup: The Bomb Factories” 70th. The complete Nielsen list is on Page 10.
