Glendora : Auto Center Pact Approved

The Redevelopment Agency has approved an agreement with a developer and automobile dealers to build an auto center on 28 acres at the intersection of Lone Hill and Allen avenues, adjacent to the Foothill Freeway (Interstate 210). The city owns one 14-acre parcel and negotiations are under way for developer Bill Bird to acquire an additional 14 acres that are now privately owned. Ten auto dealerships are planned for the area.
