20,352 U.S. AIDS Deaths

WASHINGTON —
The nation’s death toll from AIDS has climbed past 20,000, the Public Health Service said today, with 35,219 cases recorded in the United States since June, 1981, and 20,352 fatalities--a rate of nearly 58%.
