A delegation from the U.S. Justice Department, which last week barred Austrian President Kurt Waldheim from making private visits to the United States, will come to Vienna next week, a spokesman for the Chancellery said today.

The delegation will include Deputy Atty. Gen. Mark M. Richard and Neal M. Sher, head of the Office of Special Investigations, which drew up a report on Waldheim’s World War II record that formed the basis for the U.S. ban.

Government sources said they will arrive May 15 at the request of the Austrian government and stay one day. Either they will bring with them documents on which the United States based its decision, or the documents will be sent to Vienna.
