USC, UCLA Meet in 3-Game Series

UCLA will try to continue its recent domination of USC in baseball when the Bruins and the Trojans open a three-game Pacific 10 Southern Division series today at 1 p.m. at Dedeaux Field.

The Bruins, who swept three games from USC in March, have won 13 straight from the Trojans and 14 of their last 15 meeting.

UCLA, which has a 36-20-1 overall record, will also try to keep alive its hopes of winning the conference title for the second straight year. The Bruins, who have lost six of their last seven Southern Division games, are in second place at 15-12.
