If Nursing Profession Is Ailing, Greater Recognition Is the Cure

Share

Your nursing story reminded me of an article that I read some time ago that said nurses don’t have a problem ministering to the patient; we do that beautifully, but we fall short in ministering to each other.

In view of this, I would implore my brother and sister registered nurses to be ever mindful of this need to minister, nurture and support each other, and not demean, degrade and alienate each other, compounding an already difficult situation.
