Dwight Gooden, who threw three scoreless innings at Norfolk, Va., Tuesday night for Tidewater of the International League in his first game since undergoing cocaine rehabilitation, will make his next start Saturday night for Lynchburg, Va., against visiting Durham in the Class A Carolina League.

Tidewater is at Columbus, Ohio, this weekend, and General Manager Frank Cashen of the New York Mets said he did not want Gooden to pitch a road game, possibly in front of a hostile crowd.
