Monies from the films “Angel Heart” and “Extreme Prejudice” contributed substantially to a 162% rise in revenue for the first quarter ended March 31 for Los Angeles-based Carolco Pictures Inc., an independent entertainment company. However, net income was down for the period, compared to last year. This year’s results include revenue from International Video Entertainment, in which a controlling interest is owned by Carolco, a spokesman said.
