CMS Enhancements Opens New Plant in Singapore
CMS Enhancements Inc., a Tustin-based maker of computer accessories, said Thursday it has opened its first offshore manufacturing plant in Singapore to handle the company’s growing international sales.
The new plant will be overseen by newly appointed general manager Peter Kong, formerly general manager of Olivetti Singapore Ptc. Ltd.
The company said the first product to be assigned to the new plant for manufacturing would be its “Drive Plus 21,” a 21 megabyte hard disk expansion card for the IBM and compatible personal computers. Other products will be added to the manufacturing line during the next six to eight months.
