Choking Fear Cited in Recall of Rattles, Four Toddler Toys
Two baby rattles and four toddler toys sold in West Coast stores are being recalled because small parts could pose a choking hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday.
No injuries have been reported involving the toys, which were sold in several states by Pay ‘n Save Stores Inc. of Seattle, officials said.
The recall covers two models of Play Mates baby rattles, both designated as Item No. 203719, the agency said. In addition, affected are the Centipede Pull Along toy, Item TA-1670; See-Thru Wheel Cart, Item 332; Happy Duck Pull Toy, Model TM-861 and the Hammer Car, Item 160393.
