Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Mike Schad was granted a conditional discharge and placed on six months probation after pleading guilty in district court to assault causing bodily harm in a Kingston, Ont., barroom fracas.
The 6-5, 290-pound tackle punched 6-4, 235-pound Richard Zahn, 24, in the face, bloodying his nose and chipping three teeth, the court was told.
