Grove that the company was adding a “gimmick” at the end of “Blind Date” and pushing back its release to late spring because “instead of going for a $50-million gross, we’re going to shoot for a $100-million gross.”

Because you’re dying to know: After seven weeks, “Blind Date” has done quite respectably with a $35,287,458 gross.
