Attending Prom Without a Date

The impression I’ve gotten from your stories on Shawnda Westly is that of an incredibly spoiled brat of a girl who is blaming her hang-ups about boys on a discriminatory system that is violating her “human rights.”

I find it nauseating that the phrase “human rights” would actually be used in connection with such a petty and self-indulgent crusade.

The articles, and the situation, are both disgustingly shallow and a waste of time and space, not to mention a blow to crucial women’s rights issues.
