Princeton Clubs Must Go Co-Ed

TRENTON, N.J. —
Princeton University’s remaining all-male dining clubs, the Ivy Club and Tiger Inn, illegally discriminate against women and must begin admitting female members, the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights ruled today.
The division also ordered the two dining clubs, sued by 1980 Princeton graduate Sally Frank, to pay her $2,500 each in compensatory damages for pain and humiliation. Lawyers for both clubs have vowed to appeal.
