NCR Corp. unveiled a new line of computers.

The new line of personal computers is designed to challenge International Business Machines and others for the booming market in business work stations. Dayton, Ohio-based NCR introduced two AT-compatible personal computers and one communications work station based on the Intel 80286 microprocessor and a fourth unit based on the powerful 32-bit Intel 80386 microchip. They range in price from $1,954 to $8,653 and their availability dates range from September to the end of the year.
