UCSD’s Natal Is Named Division III All-American

UC San Diego catcher Bob Natal, who set school records in home runs and runs batted in, was named an NCAA Division III first team All-American, it was announced Wednesday night at a banquet in Marietta, Ohio, site of the NCAA Division III World Series.

Natal broke his own school records with 17 home runs and 61 RBIs this season while leading UCSD to the Division III series. He also batted .449 and stole 15 bases in 17 attempts.
