The release of the “Beverly Hills Cop II” sound-track LP is causing a problem for radio program directors concerned with the new consciousness about safe sex. One of the songs from the MCA sound track, George Michael’s “I Want Your Sex,” has been an immediate hit with listeners. But program directors contacted by Billboard magazine say the song’s lyrics, which seem to take a casual attitude about sexual encounters, are giving radio execs pause. In response, Columbia Records plans to issue a compact disc with three versions of the song, including more conservative, edited versions of the lyrics. Michael, a Columbia artist, was loaned to MCA for the “Cop II” sound track.
