Clay Felker, former editor of Adweek, Esquire, New West and New York magazines and the Village Voice newspaper, has been named editor of New York-based Manhattan inc. magazine, replacing Jane Amsterdam, who resigned in a dispute with publisher D. Herbert Lipson over editorial control. Felker most recently was a consulting editor for U.S. News and World Report. Manhattan inc. is a monthly business feature magazine that began publishing in September, 1984.
