NBC No. 1 Again; ABC News 2nd

NEW YORK — NBC won a prime-time week in which the six top shows were reruns and a news race in which ABC overtook CBS, minus Dan Rather, for second place in the A.C. Nielsen Co. ratings released today. NBC has been first in the news ratings seven weeks in a row and has bested CBS 16 weeks out of the last 22. ABC had not been out of third place in the news ratings since Aug. 25, 1986, when CBS was first and NBC third.
