The Directors Guild of America said Monday it has no immediate plans to hold hearings on director John Landis’ role in the “Twilight Zone” deaths of actor Vic Morrow and two children. DGA spokesman Chuck Warn said he wanted to correct erroneous reports in the news media that the DGA’s safety committee would hold hearings on the crash, the worst set disaster in Hollywood history. “At this point, the guild has no plans to hold hearings on the Landis case,” Warn said. Landis and four others were acquitted of criminal charges.
