Floating Point Systems, the Beaverton, Ore., maker of supercomputers, said it will lay off 400 employees as part of a major reorganization . . . RB Industries has agreed to sell 400,000 newly issued common shares to Yearpledge Ltd., an English company controled by Australian businessman Solomon Lew, at $10 a share . . . New Jersey-based Ingersoll-Rand Co. approved a five-for-two stock split in the form of a stock dividend, payable July 10 to stockholders of record on June 15 . . . Wickes Cos. said its Wickes Manufacturing Co. division headquartered in Southfield, Mich., has completed the purchase of Dura Corp., which is also based in Southfield, for undisclosed terms.
