Laguna Niguel : Insurance Company Is Stung in This Accident

Share

It was hardly a honey of a drive for Bichhand Phi Waterhouse as she motored through Laguna Niguel Thursday night.

Waterhouse, 39, of Laguna Niguel was driving northbound on Kite Hill Drive, south of Kestrel Lane, about 7 p.m. when several bees flew into her 1984 Lincoln Continental through the driver’s window, the California Highway Patrol said.

In swatting at the bees, she lost control of her car, which jumped a curb and hit three trees, according to a report by CHP Officer Brad Baehr. The car was moderately damaged on the right front side, he said.

Waterhouse, however, “was not injured or stung,” CHP spokesman Ken Daily said.
