Research Grants Offered for Food Professionals

Share

The CAREF Research Grants Committee is accepting applications for research grants. Grants will be considered from applicants in the food profession who have submitted a research proposal.

The project must be in the field of culinary arts and science and must disseminate factual and previously unpublished information. Projects must be unbiased, timely and educational in nature. They should interest the general public while being comprehensive enough for culinary businesses or institutions.

Priscilla Coe from Seattle received the 1987 $5,000 grant for a project in which she will be compiling a resource book listing the major world hunger operations. This information will be distributed to individuals and organizations interested in becoming involved in world hunger issues.
