Shia Muslim guerrillas attacked Israeli-backed militiamen inside Israel’s self-proclaimed “security zone” in southern Lebanon. The Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army’s radio station, Voice of Hope, said two of its fighters were killed and at least four were wounded when a rocket-propelled grenade hit an SLA vehicle near the Israel-Lebanon border. State-run Beirut radio said three of the Shia Muslim attackers were wounded.
