Bell : Liquor Licenses Restricted
An ordinance designed to prohibit new taverns has been passed by the Bell City Council. The ordinance is effective immediately.
The ordinance would restrict the issuance of on-premises alcoholic beverage licenses to restaurants.
The council also held the second reading of an ordinance restricting yard sales to one a year for single-family residences and two a year, at least six months apart, for multifamily units. A permit and a small fee based on the city’s cost will be required of sellers. That ordinance takes effect July 15.
