MIRAMAR, Fla. —
A single-engine plane crashed into a Baptist church Saturday, killing the pilot and injuring the co-pilot, police said.
Pastor John Hatcher said he did not believe that anyone was in the building at the time. “If it had been 24 hours earlier, we had children in it for preschool,” he said.
A North Perry Airport spokesman said the cause of the crash was not known.
