Share

The former director of the city’s Bureau of Sanitation has been named Harbor City and Harbor Gateway field deputy to Los Angeles Councilwoman Joan Milke Flores.

Tadao (Tad) Isomoto, 64, who retired from the Sanitation Bureau in 1984, replaces Susan Prichard, who has been named Flores’ Wilmington deputy. Prichard, a Wilmington resident, replaces Nelson Hernandez, who resigned last month to become a National Urban Fellow at Columbia University in New York.

The field deputy serves as Flores’ representative in the community, taking phone calls, responding to complaints, resolving disputes and organizing programs sponsored by the councilwoman.
