The board of Greenwich, Conn.-based Primerica Corp. has elected Kenneth A. Yarnell Jr., 44, president. He was also named to the new post of chief operating officer at the company, formerly American Can Co. Yarnell, who had been senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, succeeds Gerald Tsai Jr., who remains chairman and chief executive.
