BERYL MARKHAM: Anyone interested in the noted aviator, horse trainer and author will be glad to know that the documentary previously shown on PBS, “World Without Walls: Beryl Markham’s African Memoir,” is available on videocassette from Wild Wing Productions. Information: (818) 994-4955. Also, there’s a new audiocassette reading of Markham’s best-selling memoir, “West With the Night,” from Recorded Books. Information: (800) 638-1304.

THE CURE: If you missed buying a ticket for this English band’s local performances this week, you might like to spend your money instead on a Cure compact disc. Two of the group’s CDs offer great bargains--the new “Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me” double album (Elektra) is on one CD, though one song is missing (“Hey You!”), and the group’s second and third albums are collected completely on one domestic CD, “Happily Ever After” (A&M;), though “Seventeen Seconds” and “Faith” can also be bought as separate (import) CDs.
