Fatal Collision in W. Germany

HERBORN, West Germany —
A gasoline tanker truck crashed into an icecream bar and burst into flames today, killing many people, police said.
Gas pipes exploded and an emergency was declared in the town of Herborn. “We have never before seen so many deaths here,” a police spokesman said. The death toll was not immediately available.
