Beckman Joins Scouting Staff of the Chargers

Dave Beckman has joined the scouting staff of the Chargers, team officials announced Monday.

Beckman, who will handle collegiate scouting in the Midwest, worked in the player personnel department for the Cleveland Browns the past six years. Beckman also has been a college and high school football coach.

In the past two months, the Chargers also have hired Chet Franklin as director of player personnel and Rudy Feldman as director of professional personnel.
