A 27-year-old Boy Scout leader in Canyon Country was arrested on suspicion of molesting 11 boys, authorities said. Craig Mathias was booked July 1 for acts against boys ranging in age from 12 to 14, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Smith, and released after posting a $50,000 bond. The alleged molestations occurred over an 18-month period when the boys, most of whom belonged to a local scout troop, slept overnight at Mathias’ home.
