Westinghouse Electric’s profit rose 10.3%to $179.9 million in the second quarter, partly because of improved strength in its industrial and commercial divisions. The Pittsburgh, Pa.-based company said revenue for the three months ended June 30 slipped 3.4% to $2.64 billion from a year earlier. Westinghouse added that its operating profit margins rose to 8.8% in the second quarter this year from 7.4.% last year.
