Audubon Society Cuts Staff to Meet Budget

ALBANY, N.Y. —
The 550,000-member National Audubon Society has cut staff at some of its 16 state and regional offices in an attempt to avoid an anticipated $2.5-million budget deficit.
State offices in Albany and Hartford, Conn., will close by the end of July.
