British Jobless Rate 10.5%

LONDON —
The number of jobless people in Britain fell in June for the 12th month in a row, to 10.5%, the Department of Employment reported Thursday. In May, the figure was 10.6%. In May, 1985, 13.1% of Britons were jobless. U.S. unemployment is now 6%.
