Runaway Winner Heads Dash for Cash

Runaway Winner, trained by Leon Bard and ridden by his brother, Robbie, is favored tonight in the $698,000 Dash for Cash Futurity at Los Alamitos.

Also in the field for the 400-yard quarter horse race is Special Shake, second to Runaway Winner in the Kindergarten June 6.

Trainer Bob Gilbert has three horses--Teller Belle, Blossom Easy and Hemp N Charge--who qualified for the Dash for Cash, which offers a first prize of $259,540.
