Rockwell International reported a 4.1% increase in third-quarter earnings to $170.1 million. The Pittsburgh-based aerospace concern said all the gain came from a change in pension accounting rules. For the quarter, the pension-accounting change increased Rockwell’s income by $26.6 million.
