Water Shortage Warnings
The Great Lakes have risen dangerously over the past several years, the last measurement showing a rise of three feet. Lake Michigan has already caused considerable damage along the shorelines, and it is expected that a great deal more will occur.
The lakes’ waters are self-renewable.
Why can’t a water pipe-line be built from the lakes to California, with intermediate outlets in those places where fresh water is needed?
If an oil pipe-line could be built across the frozen tundra of Alaska in an ecological area, why can’t we do the same for the much-needed water?
