100 Injured as Bridge Collapses in Yugoslavia

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia —
A pedestrian bridge collapsed in eastern Yugoslavia, spilling more than 200 evening strollers 15 feet into the River Ibar and injuring at least 100 people, 22 seriously, police said Monday.
Between 200 and 300 people were believed to have been on the bridge when it collapsed Sunday night near the spa town of Mataruska Banja.
