Edward Woodward, British star of the CBS series “The Equalizer,” was resting comfortably in a Warwick, England, hospital after suffering what doctors called a mild heart attack. Woodward, 57, was admitted to Warwick Hospital on Tuesday with breathing problems and chest pains. Hospital administrator Malcolm Norton said Woodward was in comfortable condition Wednesday after “a general, slight improvement overnight.” Woodward has a home in nearby Edgehill, where he was taking a brief vacation.
