Delta Air Lines Inc. said it will report double-digit traffic growth in July despite widely reported incidents involving its aircraft. “We will be showing double-digit traffic growth (or revenue passenger miles) for the month,” Delta spokeswoman Jackie Pate said, adding that recent incidents had “surprisingly little effect” on traffic. In the latest incident involving the airline, a Delta plane landed safely at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Sunday night after a cockpit warning light showed a landing gear problem, Pate said. As the plane flew over the airport control tower a visual inspection confirmed the left landing gear was down, she said.
