Beverly Hills : 2 School Administrators Hired

The Beverly Hills Unified School District has hired two elementary school administrators, according to Supt. Dr. Robert French.

Betty Tice, former acting principal and teacher in the San Juan Unified School District in the Sacramento area, has been named assistant principal at Hawthorne Elementary School. Richard Douglas, chairman of the social studies department and a history teacher at Beverly Hills High School, was named assistant principal at El Rodeo Elementary School.

Tice received a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1969 and a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of San Francisco in 1975. Douglas received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 1963 and his master’s degree in education from California State University, Long Beach, in 1970.
